Easter Egg Facebook App for Station ( MY LATEST PROJECTS )

We have developed a Facebook application called ‘Easter Egg App’.

The objective is to decorate an ‘egg’ with a picture taken using a webcam. The face/image is captured in the application and automatically adjusted to the shape of an egg. Once the picture is ready, it can be posted onto your Facebook Wall.
The overview page shows a random colorful selection of the ‘eggs’ from the entire collection.

Google Earth and Maps is perhaps one of the coolest web app in existence today. What is even cooler about it is that Google guys have released the API for it. So anyone who invests a bit of time learning it can develop their own mashups using this powerful technology. Indeed for many people it’s a constant source of income.

Infarmed PDA APP ( MY LATEST PROJECTS )

Long before IPhones and Nexus, there was was little thing called the PDA. Back in 2005, I developed my first ever mobile application for a client called Infarmed. Infarmed, is a portuguese pharmaceutical entity, which controls medical legislation. The application contained medical lexicon, medical jargon, and it is still available for download in the following link. The main technological challenge I had was to downsize the database, to speed up the performance while running on a very slow PDA. It runs as a standalone and you do not need a connection to the Internet.
